Default Bonds over 7%,McDaid quits and slates Gov policy, High Court ruling- GE Next!?

Ok, so this week alone we have had these 3 major develeopments:

1- Our 10 year bond yield has passed the 7% mark and upwards

2- Jim McDaid resigned his Dáil seat and along with personal details, he gave a damning summary of the current government, saying that they have only being pursuing policies that will bring the least challenge for them and that they have been primarily focussed on their own survival in government as opposed to the survival of the economy and state!

3- The High Court this morning rules that the delay in holding the Donegal NW bye-election has no grounds and that Senator Doherty's rights under the constitution are being negated by such delays.

Surely the game is up!!! I mean, what else needs to happen to bring about a General Election!!?? (apart from the frightening stuff about AIB that I heard on RTE drive time yesterday evening : 0 )

It feels like all our birthdays have come at once - surely we would never be that lucky to have a GE sooner rather than later......

How about Bozo Lenihan resigning his seat on the grounds that his doctors have advised that he is medically unfit to continue representing his constituents (i.e. bond holders, developers and bankers)?

To much apathy in this country. I fully expect FF to go the whole term.

Possible contender for post of the month........

Brian Clown has already started the delaying tactics as regards today's High Court decision - I have the pitch fork ready. I think its time to take to the streets - of course when the students are finished that is.

I have serious reservations as the veracity of his reported condition.
