    Lightbulb We Could be Saved

Saving my Europe - a knol by gaby de wilde

I am amazed at all the possible uses of HEMP, aka cannabis, marijuana etc...

    http://hemp-ethanol.blogspot.com/

hemp and it's many beneficial uses | The Hemp Company

And I would encourage people to do a little research into it before flippantly saying "it's a drug, all illegal drugs are bad"

WHY ARE WE NOT GROWING HEMP????

Thanks, i really think people need to think for themselves and have an open mind before they dismiss something based on unproven bias.

Good idea . Any new sustainable industry is surely to be encouraged in these times . There is also the whole area of medical products such as tinctures ,creams and other cannabis related pharmcueticals . As we know it is already recognized as legitimate medicine in many countries including the US and Canada .

But wouldn't they all be too stoned to do any research at all?

Spotty likes a bit of the weed as much as your next recovering hippy, but the problem is that if you legalise it, the damned scoundrels will tax the hell out of it.

Spotty likes paying €25 for his quarter. He's damned if he's going to pay that much again in taxes.
Spotty. A pimple on the arse of politics.

Spotty should be advised that AFAIK this is the male plant, not the female plant and therefore far less likely to induce wild flights of fancy.

Some slightly embellished history of the weed.

10-10-10: The Marijuana Conspiracy - Over The Limit Entertainment

    Loosely corroberated

The Conspiracy behind the Prohibition of Hemp by GrandaddyBonegrinder ~ Dark Poetry

    The other point of view

    Hemp Oil and Cancer

And one of the oldest writings on the anti-hemp movement and some of the seamier sides of American politics is the Elkhorn Manifesto

The Elkhorn Manifesto / R. William Davis

Many of the more outrageous allegations therein are corroberated here by Tarpley in a long-publisded online book, the Unauthorised BIography of George Bush

George Bush: The Unauthorized Biography TARPLEY.net

Tarpley is still frothing on TARPLEY.net where Obama and the Banks get a liberal tongue lashing.

So here's the point; It's not the smokers who need convincing that HEMP is good. It's the rest of the people, smokers already think it's the bomb!!! petunia
