    how about anybody in a position of authority who knew about the rape of children and swept it under the carpet or just stayed silent

    That would be nearly every politician, senior garda and senior civil servant between 1922 and the 1990s.

    The "genius" of Michael O'Leary is to take good worthwhile work with good pay and conditions, like what used to exist in Aer Lingus, and replace it with low paid, temp, Mac-Jobs. To not only get away with this anti-social criminality, but to to make a furtune on it to boot.
