They appear united only in their disdain for the FF/GP coalition. A cursory glance and some obvious sore thumbs stand out:
1- Public sector reforms including pay, pensions and redundancies.
2- Public service reforms including most notably the HSE.
3- Social welfare reforms including cutting and limiting welfare payments.
4- Taxation reforms including closing loopholes and general increases.
5- Concessions to the Agriculture lobby.
Previous FG/Lab coalitions have functioned due to the roar of the celtic tiger in the 90's and FG's experiment with socialism in the 80's. But now we are in economic depression and FG are more right wing than ever.
So folks how long will it last? If it gets off the ground of course.
