Default Return of bonus points for honours maths

About time too...It was a major mistake to get rid of them...Honours maths is one of the most difficult subjects, probably the most difficult. It's also vital to our high tech economy, and the multinationals like to see a lot of people doing honours maths.

I'd personally also like to see bonus points for physics and chemistry as well since these are also valuable subjects to our export lead economy.

The more students that can be encouraged into these subjects the better.

Must of our FDI in the next number of years will be related to these subjects.

Our entire secondary school curriculuam needs modernising. It's time for secondary school students to learn the basics of comuter programming, and also entrepreneurship.

As someone who got honours in Honours maths, I disagree with the extra point. More than anything, they need to change the way that it is taught

now all we need are bonus points for a decent level of english and we might be doing something right. Maths is important enough to justify the bonus, but so is english

the problem is the points system but that's not going to change so giving an incentive to study honours maths is probably the best that can be done.

Good move. Needed to be done.
I'm living in America, and in America, you're on your own. America's not a country. It's just a business. Now f***ing pay me.

Agreed and I would also start awarding extra points for the science subjects.

Most students study English, the incentive is intended to increase the numbers studying honours maths
