Default Government and Senior Civil Servants Have Defrauded Irish People

The Government, government departments and quangos all tell us we don't need to access the sovereign bond market until next Spring.

What they didn't tell the electorate is that they are using the remnants of the nationalised banks to prop up the State by sucking money off the inter-bank market and loaning it back to the Government. The insolvent Government is hell bent on bringing the banks down with them so they can blame the banks for the mess.

These are the same people playing the same dodgy accounting tricks that got us into this mess in the first place.

From a political perspective, a banking crisis is far preferable to a sovereignty crisis. utterly, utterly dispicable what is going on in this country and highly paid banking regulators are again silent.

Who do you think is currently funding the Government current account? Poisoning AIB's good books with Irish Government debt will destroy what was once a jewel in the crown of the Irish economy.

Surely is the toxic property assets that have destroyed AIB?

Also to describe as a jewel in the crown is a bit rich given its past with the insurance company in the 80s and the DIRT scandal of the 90s.

You've been listening to Lenny again.

You've yet to learn how incompetent and useless he is.
