Angry Ibec calls for minimum wage to be taxed

In yet another indication that the gombeen capitalist class of this country see the crisis as an opportunity to undermine pay and conditions to increase their profit margins, Ibec Director General Danny McCoy today called for the minimum wage to be cut
''The entire labour force has to make a contribution to this," Mr McCoy said.

"We cannot afford to leave the (tax) base as narrow as it has been hitherto."
Leaving aside the fact that the tax base was narrowed for the wealthy rather than ordinary Joe Soaps, its an utter disgrace that robber-barons like this fellow and Sutherland feel they can come out attacking the poor and vulnerable so that the profits of their mates can be protected.

Indeed, Tax the poorest. Their burden is interfering with IBECs time on the golf course. How is one expected to pay membership fees at the K club when you can't share your tax burden with the man who cuts the grass!

If there is a bigger bunch of useless tossers in this country than IBEC, I don't want to meet them They just trot out the same old tired failed nonsense. Of course, they were part of the Alignment of Failure that got the country into the K2-sized compost heap in which it finds itself. Ignore those wanquers.

Funny we hear IBEC calling for lots of things, except anything that would effect the super profits of their Fat Cat members. Why don't IBEC call for a halt to paying out 100 Billion to the banks and state cash for trash SCAMA ?
