    Default Twip 3/10/10

On tonight are Pat Carey, James Reilly and Ruairi Quinn.

RT News: Govt to examine income & spending - Carey

Default Senior FF Minister: "We are in a *crisis* situation"

Pat Carey just now on the Week in Politics.

He's spinning about how the IMF and the EU are "advising" the Government on fiscal matters.

We are now serfs to Brussels and have lost a huge chunk of our national sovereignty.

We might as well go the whole hog: EU federal tax, EU battle groups, EU-wide laws, etc. Leinster House is now a glorified county council.

Carey pretty much signalling that Croke Park will be shredded. The smart money was always on that outcome.

Reilly - No water charges until meters installed.

EDIT: Quinn seems to be in favour of flat charging now.

Apparently they're into year 2 of their "4 year plan".

Even Garrett Fitzgerald says such a plan doesn't "have much credibility".
