Default Brian Cowen literally talking sh*t on RTE radio

Listened to the last minute or so of his interview again – he is interchanging the figure 30 billion with 34 billion, also can't make out when he is saying million or billion, basing interest payments on no clear figure at all and just basically making no sense when you try to analysis what he is saying – I've listened to it three times now an don't think it makes logic – God knows for the rest of his crap talk

Can anyone tell me is he making sense in that last minute?

After the hangover interview and the failure of FF to act, and the poll figures today, it is clear that being inarticulate and un-communicative on the matter of committing a few annual health service budgets to bailing out a casino is an acceptable performance for one of the best paid heads odf state in the world.

We get the government we deserve it seems..

For a model interview technique you need look no further than the job Seán O'Rourke did this lunchtime on Patrick Honohan and Brian Cowen.

Indeed.. Cowen's performance was worse that useless.. he was sober but he was useless

"I take responsibility for my reponsibilities but.... " followed by a load of verbage about how it's not his fault.. global crisis etc etc..

We should be ashamed to have him as our leader.

He can talk a lot but says nothing.

By the way, was I dreaming or did Conor Lenihan say "going forward, going forward" the other day?

Wouldn't blame Brian Cowen if we discovered he carried a hipflask. I'd probably do the same if I'd screwed up as badly
