Default FF Oireachtas members meet to discuss the economy?

Thought I saw somewhere that FF members of the Oireachtas were meeting yesterday to discuss the economy. So I thought that was everything sorted. You can imagine my surprise this morning etc. etc.

The really mean part of me wonders were they actually doing anything more than handing around the manual on stock answers, but maybe I'm too cynical.

Anyway, anyone else hear of this meeting? And what was discussed?

I'm listening to Billy Kelliher reading out the stock answers (AGAIN) on PK now, and he's supposedly second in command, any discussions must have been interesting (to junior infants).

Tut tut. Billy on the radio?

Must get on to HQ again and remind them - it'll be the same old rhetoric spouted by any of them, but at least they should remember to put the ugly ones on the radio and the pretty boys on tv.

I would have thought the Galway drink-in was an adequate opportunity to address the economy but it seems these jokers were otherwise engaged listening to Brian "stop me if you heard this one before" Cowen giving them "his" Philip Walton and Michael O' Muircheartaigh.
