Exclamation Cowen running scared from the media

On newstalk today they ran a piece on Cowen saying he was running scared from the media , Cowen decided he was going to do an interview with his personal media handlers rather than any of the print and broadcasting Journalists on the recent chinese visit.

You can listen to what newstalk say here Newstalk 106-108fm Media Player

And Cowens interview with his own press handler here. Must have taken the Chinese advice on board about dealing with the media.

Well his own press handlers wouldn't complain if he arrived 40 minutes for an interview, groggy and worse for the wear.

Cowen has changed his media strategy, and I'm not sure we'll like it

This is getting more and more bizzare - surely he's getting close to the end of his tether.

He's not secretly plotting to sell the country to the Chinese, is he?

What we need is Irish investment in Ireland, so that we get the profits and it does not go to foreigners.
We have got as much as we are going to get out of Europe; it is, now, time to leave!

Will no one in FF tell Biffo he's becoming more like Ceauşescu than the late, non-lamented Nicolae himself. When clinging onto power becomes the sole raison d'être, democracy goes out the window and Cowenescu is increasingly pushing his luck with the increasingly vengeful electorate. Sooner or later he and his party will reap their just rewards. Just surprising no senior FF figures will react to the irreparable damage Cowenescu is doing to the party - let alone to the nation.

There was already another thread on this - New Cowen Interview skills. about the closed door interview with Mark Costigan.

Soon he will go in and out to Gov buildings by chopper like the late Nicolae of Romania.

The Chinese have more sense than to buy it - unless they want to turn it into a prison-camp for Japanese.

    Cowencam!

Alternates between blurry and sharp, and sways gently to and fro...
