Default is the Sindo changing sides?

Just had a chance to read the Sindo online and was amazed at the number of anti-government articles. There's the usual couple bashing Cowen, and a few that are rehashing old news, but perhaps most interestingly, they seem to have dedided that St Lendahand isn't our saviour after all

Paper trail reveals a cesspool of waste and cronyism
Jolly jaunts of the Bull and his wife on our tab
Docklands dealings immersed in an incestuous maze

The O'Donoghue article is brilliant. How about this for chutzpah?

It didn't stop the relentless flow of information on his spending as Ceann Comhairle. In a final gamble, O'Donoghue decided to come clean with every last detail of his spending. But he couldn't resist trying to pull a stroke in the process. At 3.15pm, on the Friday of the Lisbon Treaty vote, he lodged details of his expenses claims in the Dail Library

If Biffo wants to get his back on the Indo all he has to do us what happened in that meeting with himself, Bertie and Sir Anto.

    Would be nice to know.

Looks like they are preparing for a change in Government, doesn't it? I wonder who knows what?

Once every 3 months the SINDO go all soft on Fine Gael and attack Fianna Fail. Usually this coincides with a weekend when there is feck all news, people are depressed with the weather, no major sports events and the second last week in the three monthly cycle.

I always find it laughable at the ABFF claiming Independent Newspapers is pro FF. The fact is FF is and always was far more interesting subject than the ABFF. What other way would they be considering the ABFF are out of government so long and so often. The ABFF are dull boring people with aspirations way above their station. FF are the movers and shakers and the media love us

No, but they risk collapse in sales if they keep spouting crap from their masters; the rulers of the Sindo have probably also found a slowdown in brown envelopes so the soft propaganda is not as forthcoming.

Along with half the gobshi£s that 'write' for it.

Except Kerrigan. We'll keep that gent of a man.
Where, after all, is the Muslim outrage at these events? As their ancient, deeply civilized culture of love, art and philosophical reflection is hijacked by paranoiacs, racists, liars, male supremacists, tyrants, fanatics and violence junkies, why are they not screaming? Salman Rushdie (2002)
