Default The Other Guys - movie has sardonic take on the crash and who pays

You wouldn't guess from the publicity but this high quality gag-rich spoof-style New York cop buddy movie packs a mighty sardonic punch at the crash, who benefits and who pays.

A global financier falls foul of the Chechen 'investment community' when his plans to launch a Chechen version of Dora the Explorer goes badly wrong. The trustees of the €32 billion police department pension fund suddenly receive his silver tongued proposal.

The end credits are a seminar in themselves. Our own NTMA advisors Goldman feature prominently.

If that is not enough to persuade p.ie viewers to check it out I will just add two more words of encouragement -

    Eva Mendes.

I didn't laugh once in the cinema. Everybody keeps telling me how great it was, but i tought it was pretty boring actually.
