Default Cowen on Morning Ireland 14/09/10

Listening to our dear leader squirm on the hook over the "minimum 3 Billion" cuts on Morning Ireland. He sounds...like he has a cold or/and last night was a heavy night on the sauce. What do you think? Any reports of the Taoiseach catching cold?

He sounds like someone would sound if they had a rake of pints the night before. I think I just heard him fart there!

And Mary Hanafin on Newstalk full of the joys of life... The contrast couldn't be more stark....

Shocking stuff. Probably should've left his interview until at least the News at One.

I think COwen must have been woken up mid dream where he was revisiting the glory days of Da Bert as he confused the Croke Park Agreement with the Good Friday Agreement. Slight slurring going on there as well. I think he'll have the breakfast back in the room before catching a doze in the car on the way back to Government Building before...catching another few ZZZZZzzzzsss before slashing the public sector budget. By the way today's a good day to get him sign off on stuff because I doubt he'll remember!

Wow that man does not like to be interviewed. Came accross as very arrogant and cranky - a bit of an air of don't you dare question me. I think even Cathal lost his cool a small bit with him, he sounded quite exasperated at a few points, especially when he made the comment that we might as well just all emmigrate.
