    Coke is it, says Labour, in plan to sell Dublin city to sponsors

    businesses are going to the wall and so cannot pay their rates.

    Labour thinks we shoukl sell the rights to naming parks etc .will help.I don't see it myself.

    did anyone seriously beleive that tolls would be liftred from the East Link

    The Republic of Pepsi. Has a nice ring to it. They'd do a better job governing as well no doubt.

    local authorities are trolling back through planning applications loking for development fees as far back as 2001! they are in dire straits financially

    Little chance of collecting those.Most reputable property developers are screwed. The cowboys have fled.

    Central Governmwent assistance is dwindling.

    Serious reform of the cost base is required. 5-10 LA's woul do.
