Default FF senator left millions out of pocket as land plans rejected

FF senator left millions out of pocket as land plans rejected - National News, Frontpage - Independent.ie

"A FIANNA Fail senator spent millions of euro on a large field in Patrick Kavanagh country that is now worth only a fraction of its cost.

Senator Francis O'Brien (67) had hoped to make a windfall through land rezoning but he was undone by the determined opposition of the local community.

Mr O'Brien could not be contacted for comment about his purchase of the land and his ability to repay his multi-million euro loans to Irish Nationwide."

Great to see the community came together to stand up to the likes of O'Brien. Well done Inniskeen.

Lets hope the Nationwide nail the fuc8er to the wall.

The sooner we get rid of people like Francie from public office the better. Being an elected representative is incompatible with being a property speculator.

FF politician borrows 10 million off Irish Nationwide to buy a field so his cronies on the county council can then rezone it and grab a huge profit.

Furthermore according to the Irish Mail "the loans were fast-tracked by Michael Fingleton without demonstrable security or documentation".

I believe what went on in Nationwide to be miles worse than anything we have heard or seen to date but given the amount of FF'ers with loans in there, we will probably never know.

Well a lot of them are in massive debt, having believed their own lies. Hopefully it will destroy them.

It would be fantasy given all we know to believe even a fraction of this 10 million will ever be repaid by Francie and his family.
You and me will repay it, kids with special needs will pay it, your mother on the trolly will pay for it.....

Would expect Frank Fahey to be the next one fully exposed for his borrowings at INBS but he has also hidden himself in transactions by having a builder/developer front the borrowings, large case pending in Limerick.

    Irrelevant anyway.

Not a chance in the World this guy or his family are going to suffer, not a chance.
This is FF, Nationwide, lala land where no one pays for their gambling and the taxpayer steps in.

In the twisted world of FF, this guy, Killaly, Frank Fahy, Donie and dozens more have suffered too much already by not actually making millions out of their speculation.
They can't be expected to pay for losses as well can they?
