    Anglo Irish Bank came top in three award categories:

    Best Offshore Bank for Expats, Overall (Winner)
    Best Offshore Bank for Expats, US Dollar Accounts (Winner)
    Best Offshore Bank for Expats, Euro Accounts (Winner)

    Additionally Anglo Irish Bank was voted as Highly Commended in the following award categories:

    Best Offshore Bank for Expats, Sterling Instant Access (Highly Commended)
    Best Offshore Bank for Expats, Sterling Notice (Highly Commended)
    In 2009 Anglo Irish Isle of Man was also voted “Best Offshore Account Provider” at the Moneyfacts Awards, for the second year in a row. Moneyfacts is the largest independent publisher of personal finance data in the UK.

    Go figure. Lenihan might need to extend that guarantee so the Isle of Man operation can win more fruitbowls...

    There is a large Anglo building in Cork with the exterior being almost entirely glass, I'm suprised nobody fired some rocks/slingshot into it yet!
