Phil Hogan doing a fantastic job on this. Making life even more uncomfortable for BIFFO ( a man that looks like a bulldog chewing a wasp ) if that is possible

The relationship between the DDDA, Anglo and some of FFs favourite Developers/Donors has the potential to blow the hind legs off anything uncovered at the planning tribunals, for sheer size and scale of the corruption involved in my opinion.

So expect every weapon in FFs armoury to be used in the attempt to cover up this one.

    Nice work.

I've started reading and it looks like the DDDA was a cesspit where good corporate governance was non-existent.
Among the recomendations (can we assume that these were not previously adhered to?)

    - cash should not be allowed be withdrawn off company credit cards. - No limits or guidance were placed on the company's travel credit card nor were there any rules on permissable hotel, flight or meal costs.
    - There was no policy on employee expenses or who could claim expenses.
    - Cheques were written prior to approval of project directors, meaning it was extremely difficult to control costs.
    - Estimates of fees from legal counsel should be sought.

The reports also states that "the Minister in making appointments to the board should consider the skills mix."

What, you mean Bertie 'won it on the nags' Ahern should not have been appointing buddies to top positions on the DDDA?

FF aren`t taking it too seriously. They had Bugsys brother (?) on Primetime 2night. Miriam had to spoon feed him the questions.

We are where we are, eventhough his shtface Taoiseach & Dickey may have cost the state €500 million on this site alone
