| Two Ógra activists were in the Basque Country last weekend to extend the solidarity of Ógra Shinn Féin to their comrades in SEGI, the Basque nationalist left youth organisation. They were part of an international delegation involving Catalans, Bretons, and Castilians among others. The young republicans were there to support SEGI, which the Spanish government is trying to ban and whose national leadership was recently sentenced to lengthy prison sentences by a Spanish court. The international delegation read out declaration of support in many languages supporting the right of Basque youth to express their legitimate political opinions. I actually prefer SF, for all their flaws to the 32 CSM and RSF, but all this brow beating about how much bigger they are, makes them sound like a pre-pubescent gang of Man United supporters telling supporters of less successful teams that '(insert team name hear) are s-h-i-t! I guess what I'm trying to say is that while yes, I wish 32CSM and RSF supporters would change the record, some SF people are no better. I know people in OSF, who stopped talking to me since I left. Do I like it? No, but if they want to be petty, so be it. I'm not going to stoop to their level.

I feel that not speaking to someone because of their polictial views is slightly immature... with that said, the 32CSM, RIRA, CIRA, and the millions of other organistations that have appeared over the years are, if u like it or not, Micro organisations. The only impact that they are having on any sorta of positive progress being made is negative. Take for example the 'bomb' attack on the woman in Sion over the weekend, this is totally wrong. And before I get bombarded with posts about "the ra done it", I know the IRA done it, they know they done it, they also know it was wrong, and are making all the efforts they can to ensure that the pointless loss of life doesnt happen again...

| Only Ogra could start a thread calling for support for Basque youth movements and turn it into condemnation of Irish militant groups. Since last year Basque militant youth have carried out over 300 acts of arson in their campaign of civil disobedience ,and their refusal to allow the normalisation of Spanish dominance. This campaign has become known as Kale Borraka .OSF are the complete opposite, and are little pacified Irish kids who roll over and run around condemning militants and support the police force. Now and again they travel abroad and act the revolutionary. If the Basque kids knew half the shyt that went on here, with PSF collusion with the Crown Forces, condemnation of Irish separatists etc they'd run them out. BTW, why cant Ogra raise the issue of Anti GFA Republicans being interned in the SCC, or the dismantling of political status in Maghaberry, or harassment of 32csm and rsf activists as well as raising the issues of Basque youth.

| PSF condemn Irish Republican youth whilst travelling thousands of miles to support Basque separatist youth http://www.derryjournal.com/ViewArticle ... ID=2692823 Does OSF condemn Kale Boraka and the Basque youth's attacks on Spanish interests, or is safe to support something not in your backyard?
