Its about 330 miles from Dublin to London including sea and using existing road routes (i.e. not as crow flies). So with a high speed link capable of 200 mph you get a time of well under two hours. That would be very competitive with air.

| We already have a land bridge to the UK - it is called the Border with Nprthern Ireland. A land connection to Britain is just a pipe dream. Even connecting N.I. to Scotland is not feasable from an engineering stand point.
