| The most voiceferous critics of Mary Harney have been women. I fail to understand how a woman Minister, ex-tanaiste and politician failed so badly in the promotion of women's rights issues. She may have climbed the political ladder but she utterly failed to understand basic ethics and engagement with issues of great importance to the multiple victims of her policies. I expect the Sunday Papers will eulogise her contribution, many I know only recall the ignominy of her final few years. A fresh and challenging approach to rights cannot be achieved when an unethical market ideology is applied to actual human beings. Now, I do wonder how Professor drumm is feeling about their political connection? |

| Bobert, it's only possible to promote the FIRST post in a thread to feature on the homepage, your thread was about the motion, it was posted yesterday, i've posted it in order to ensure it appears on the HOMEPAGE. I thought you (and others) would kinda get that by now.
