I'm trying to decide between (D) and (F) with the latter slightly ahead on the last furlong

Michael D. should have got it last time around. The Labour Party acted in bad faith.
He's missed his moment now.

I think a good robot could do it. Its mainly smiling and handshaking.

Well I have applied for a post as Country Manager-Ireland for a well known manufacturer of nuclear power plants so I am hoping that Brian Crowley is the next President, and that would allow his sub, Ned O'Keeffe, to take his seat in the Euro Parl.

Ned and I would get on like a house on fire. He told the nation today on the wireless that he thinks we should have a nuclear plant in every parish. That might take a while, but one in every province is certainly feasible if you are prepared to do without a few luxuries.

Norris would be pretty good in the role I think. It's perfect for him, wandering the country babbling enthusiastically about preserving architectural and artistic heritage. And he'll really really annoy a) Fianna Fáilers b) Catholic Fundies and c) Loyalist nutters.

It's hard to think of anyone from the establishment parties that isn't either a criminal or an embarrasment.
