
In the video recorded by the Government's own media unit, Kenny goes on to say there is still a long way to go, pointing to the CSO figures pointing to an increase in the number of people in employment at the end of 2011.
Kenny says the first priority the government had the deal was restoring political and economic stability domestically, and rebuilding Ireland's reputation abroad. Kenny says this has happened, that the financial system is more stabilised and that the "employment situation has stabilised".
The Taoiseach says in the video that his priority over the next year will be the creation of jobs, and hopes that this time next year he'll be able to report "significant progress".
