Its an absolute disagrace that Davy Walsh who has been on the City Council since 1979 has not been made mayor yet, in fact not even Deputy Mayor.
money on halligan for mayor.id say you'd of got a great price on that 12 months ago!

If only we had a time machine like your man out of LOST we would be rolling in it. Still though if Halligan took the top job, his ex-comrades in the WP would have a field day given Halligan's previous stance on the Estimates and the Pact.

How much are you willing to bet on Halligan for Mayor?

I think we're taking it for granted that he'll get it.

Well if that is the case it would be one of the most blatant pieces of hypocrisy witnessed in Waterford in quite a while. How anyone could believe a word he says again would be beyond me.

I wonder if he, sorry I mean Maby would come on to defend this decision!

As for Darcy, i believe i was giving him too much credit too! As for them saying that they will only do something as an entire group of independents, I don't think they are including Dick Roche in this, apparently each of the independents are independent, but some are more independent than others, if you will!

Well NZ Blaa, as a wise old sage said to be many moons ago, we will have to wait and see.

When will the new mayor be announced?

I think John could be the most popular mayor in a longtime.
