It is worth buying the Irish Times just to read this woman. Her latest contribution refers to George Lee as "the people's princess". It had me in stitches anyway. To think that she only joined the Times in part exchange for Kevin Myers. I know who got the better deal.

Agreed, she is consistently excellent, both funny and perceptive, without trying to stoke controversy a la Myers.

By far the best political sketch writer in Ireland, up there with some of the best in the UK (e.g. Simon Hoggart & Quentin Letts)
