expect plenty more ... the postcard farce that cost €250000 ... which monies could have been utilised for a myriad of good and deserving public causes ... is but the beginning

I'll be returning the postcard to sender btw with some comments

How is it propaganda if its true? It is proof that we need to vote Yes to Europe for Ireland to recover from the economic mess we are in and recover fully - do you think Europe will bail us out if we vote No? Without Europe we are economically devastated - that IS the fact of the matter. Vote Yes if you want the pain to stop!

I wonder will the Irish Times investigate the funding of this group in the same way they engaged in a witch hunt of Ganley's funding?

The group concerned is the Department of Foreign Affairs - the same outfit that sent a propaganda postcard to every household in the state. In the middle of the worst economic recession in living memory, they have no qualms about squandering taxpayers' money in an overtly political campaign intended to influence the result of the Lisbon referendum.

It's yet another reason to vote 'No'.
