Basically, this anti-democratic measure is being pushed through on the back of a crisis - just as the Nazis came to power on the back of an economic crisis. The logic of the yesmen is the same - a bankrupt state can't afford democracy.

i see they used college money to put posters in the local galway newspapers, and its also nice to see it on there homepage, which is paid for by the college which is funded by us the taxpayer.

No bias and waste of taxpayers money there then......

oh and these seven presidents, who each earn ~200k basic salary a year have refused to take any paycut when they were asked.

ivory towers.......

What clause in the Lisbon Treaty asks us to progressively upgrade our education services? I saw the one that forces us to progressively upgrade our defence forces but I didn't see the one that requires us to do the same for our universities.

So they voted for reasons that have nothing to do with the treaty. What a shock.

It's time to hit home the fact that a NO vote will rid us of FF; the people who failed to address any serious issues in the education system. The Yes side are abject liars and are trying to influence people on non-issues.
