This issue concerns another Pro Lisbon EU influenced propaganda rag that has entered through my letterbox this week. THIS topic is about the IMAGES on this document and NOT the written content.

I have decided to create a separate thread for this issue because it is an entirely different publication than that of the other PRO Lisbon rag published by the IRC.

Again there is an obvious biased message on the cover of it to those that may only glance at it without looking through its entire content.

There are five figures in the front three colour and two black and white. Note on the cover the three colored figures have their hands up signifying a YES. You will also notice that one YES person is a collage graduate a person usually associated with having some degree of intelligence.



Notice the guy with the builders hat is a NO (Hand down) voter signifying a trades men or "working class", usually associated with someone with tabloid intelligrence.

On page one it shows a group of 12 people in the first page. There is a majority of 7 YES (Hands up) voters against 5 NO (Hands down) voters, I don't see any images of NO voters in colour.

The punk rocker, a person associated with anarchy as a NO voter.

The guy with a stethoscope around his / her neck (A highly educated person associated with the medical profession ) in colour as a YES voter along with another college graduate.

Again this document was NOT put together by students as some school project. It was professionally manipulated at expense with EU influence to try and influence the undecided sheeple population of Ireland into Voting YES.

If I was an undecided voter and saw this obvious breach of conduct I would definitely vote NO on this issue.

Interesting. They are obviously trying to play with peoples heads. It is Orwellian in nature, as is the yes campaign in general.

I presume this is not referendum commission material ?
Why are Foreign Affairs spending taxes issueing such material ?

The line between everyday marketing and sci fiction 'mind control' is surprisingly thin.

When the marketing department responsible for targeting children with fast food and high sugar sweets are asked if they think they are harming children they deny it, and their logic is hilarious "because Advertising doesn't really have any effect, it doesn't Force children to eat at McDonalds"

Advertising and marketing are mind control industries, they are trying to create demands for products and services that we don't need. They are trying to make us feel worse for not owning things we didn't even care existed before.

Lisbon conspiracy promoting hatred towards builders and chefs?

Sorry if I'm off topic.

In the TV advert it starts with 'what do I know about the Lisbon treaty?' then another voice says 'i know that there is a member from each state on the councl of ministers'.
Is this a mixed message? Are they getting the council and the commission mixed up? Surley having a member on the concil was never an issue?

Orwellian perhaps, but nothing new. We see it on the cover of the Lisbon treaty quide because we are aware they might try something of this nature but we miss it in every advertisment, poster, packaging or logo we see uses techniques that are similar. If you ask any body in marketing or communication and they will tel you the 'product' is being sold in it's best light. The wee men on the front are a communications tool. You can call marketing, or manipulation, you can call it PR, or propaganda but realise that it happens all day every day.

I received this leaflet too and asked the Dept of Foreign Affairs why they were issuing leaflets when the referendum commission is the government body with the remit to issue unbiased information.

I also asked whether the leaflet was in conflict with the McKenna judgement.

No adequate answer given to the duplication of material with Referendum Commission, and 'our legal people said it was OK'.

I got the impression the person I spoke to was junior and nobody had raised such questions before. I asked who I should complain to and was initially told she would pass on my comments to her supervisor. i insisted on a name and she said, clearly under pressure, the Minister would be the best person.

I asked how many were printed and at what cost.

She rang me back to say 1.9 million printed at cost of €154,747.89 for printing and distribution. No mention of cost of psycologists to advise on content.

What other costs are being incurred by the taxpayer by this and possibly other government Departments on promoting a yes vote?

McKenna seems to have been ignored.
