Well "crushing family farms" and "lower wages" are assertions that at the very least need justification.

Also, what share of the seats in EU Parliament do NO campaigners believe Ireland should have?

Twice that warranted by our population, three times?

Or, just a crazy idea I know, what about pro-rata our population?

Is it me, or have the No side consistently hired superior graphic design company's?

I'm far from a fan of Sinn Fein; but those posters wipe the floor with EVERY single Yes poster. Don't get me wrong there's more than a little room for improvement; but i'm speaking relative to the Yes side.

I'm speaking from a purely aesthetic PR point of view.

yea - it's a classic case of the medium over the message.

Maybe I was too polite: Well "crushing family farms" and "lower wages" are assertions that at the very least need justification.

I'll re-phrase: It is a lie to assert that the EU post Lisbon will "crush family farms" and "lower wages".

Now..

Regardless of what figure someone plucks out of the air for how much say we should have on issues. Illustrating to people what we actually will have is an important message. They can decide for themselves whether they are happy with it.

The "Heart of Europe" message on the other hand is completely mis-leading. It invokes images of Ireland sitting on a golden throne; with France, Germany and Britain kneeling before us offering grapes and resplendent adornments.

One is more accurate than the other.
