Can you promise that the vaccine is 100% safe?
If not, clear off.

Have researched anything on the Swine Flu vaccine? THere are many, many question marks hanging over this vaccine from all around the world. If you fancy getting a rushed through vaccination which may damge your health peranently in ways no flu ever could, just so a group of multi-national pharmaceutical companies with politicians in their pockets can make a killing, then go ahead. It's a mild flu, that's all. It's 'pandemic' status was earned because it spreads quickly between peopl, nt because of it's danger. Every year 36,000 people die in the US ALONE from the normal flu, I bet this flu will kill no more, more likely many less, than the Bird Flu that was supposed to wipe out humanity not so long ago.
Read up about Baxter, a major manufacturer of the vaccine, and their lab in the Czech republic. Read up on the World Health Organisation periodicly releasing older strains of viruses to which we have lost immunity into the population, along with the legislation they have put in place to rush through vaccines to deal with these viruses. Read up on the effects of Mercury in vaccines and why it was previously banned. Read up on Squalene, and what happened to Gulf War veterens after they got the anthrax jab.
Look up these things and more, make a list of questins and then ask them to your doctor. If he doesn't know the answers, then ask him what the fùck he thinks he's doing injecting people so. I have a feeling you'll see a whole lot of shoulder movement but not many answers.

In relation to the OP, it's either tabloid exaggeration or Fianna Fails answer to keeping power after No vote.

If you were informed on the issue i don't think you would be saying that, here let me offer some assistance.
Ya wont be saying that after you watch this!

There are 2 links to interviews on this and a link to a site with more information, lets see what you have to say after watching these.

"Second school hit by swine flu outbreak"

I refuse to go near doctors ,since they nearly killed me years ago with their drugs.
When you have creatures like Clanrickard voting yes you can imagine what kind of people make up the ignorant little fascists of the Lisbon traitee.
If Ireland votes yes we will be living in a neo fascist state ,will lose all liberties in time.
Only a profound ignorance of the spirit could still be for the E. U.
Europe is NOT the TREATY of LISBON. The anti -virus can be deadly ,while the virus
is no worse than any winter flu. They want to control us with fear .
P.S. C Rickard why do you not have the jab ,no one is stopping you, since you are so keen ?

Before everyone starts getting a completely hissy - lets look at 2 things, 1 the source and the other the situation.

Yes, I hadn't seen this clause before, however it is probably in there with the purpose of being utilized when much more aggressive/dangers strains of infectious disease are threatening.

2nd this is the freakin star - and there's a lot of 'could' and 'may' littered through this article.

Having said that, vaccinations are only as effective as the rate of uptake. If a vaccination is not mass deployed it allows the virus a far greater chance of mutation (through infecting more individuals, upping the probability of a cross-mutation), and thus greater chance of making the existing vaccination ineffective.

Note i'm not saying that for this particular strain of flu a mass vaccination is necessarily warranted, but the clause can make sense.

Final note - whilst this flu dosn't appear to be that bad - it is very binary - evidence so far suggests that you will either have a very mild infection, treatable by a few days bed rest, or you will be in the intensive care unit, putting a major strain on those units and excess capacity: Don't be fooled: swine flu still poses a deadly threat - health - 08 September 2009 - New Scientist

Article 40 of the Irish Constitution (Bunreacht na hÉireann) sets down that you have a right not to have your body or person interfered with. This means that the State may not do anything to harm your life or health.

If you are in custody, you have a right not to have your health endangered while in prison.

Note that the article contains so many words like "may" and "could" and "on the verge of " instead of "will" and "shall" that it gives the author of the original article plenty of room to back out of any claims made.

Scaremongering, pure and simple.
