Oh - sorry MPOB. I see what you meant now. Natural mistake, though.

The Green Party is a joke. It lacks imagination, innovation and even a modicum of economic sense. The sooner we are rid the better off this country will be.
Do you seriously believe that FF would not have raised taxes on petrol etc. in any case to raise revenue?? - The Carbon Tax is a handy way for them to do this and use the GP as a convenient mudguard

Anybody who is not a turncoat or an FFer would make me happy.

Default Bad news for Gormley

If Mary Wallace is on the case, Gormley had better look out!

Gormley gets eaten alive by Lucinda Creighton on the Week in Politics later, should be fun.

Neither of the above are turncoats or FF'ers, and they are doing an excellent job in getting Green Party Policy implemented (as the thread title points out).

The fact that they are getting on with their jobs, and not grandstanding every other day, is something that should be welcomed.

You will achieve your goals much faster with more GP TDs after 2012 than you will with either FF-Lite or FF-Liter.

Just look at the disasters they are responsible for at Local Government level, not to mention all the rezonings that we have to pick up the tab for.

If you want to get FF out in 2012, you need to come up with a strategy to get them out. On past record (and notwithstanding the excellent points Garret Fitzgerald made on Saturday) we can be sure that FG will do their level best to lose that election too.
