Well that's annoying. A cryptic title followed by a post which doesn't actually say what happened! Boo! Hiss! etc

Yeh forgot to put in the link then corrected my mistake!

As for the rant...if I can't rant here where can I?>
(people get scared when I mumble these things on the back of the 46a while people named Fionn and Kyla discuss Colombian HR abuses while drinking cans of red champagne)

Well, in case you missed it

Students from University College Dublin staged a sit-in this afternoon at the offices of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to protest at a delay in receiving local authority grants
    And

It was organised by the Union of Students in Ireland.
We did sweet fa in Trinity. I signed a petition calling for living expenses to be taken into account when handing out grants.

The guy sitting in front of me asked what it was for, and his friend responded "its to give money to poor people". I love BESS.

We should give all students a living grant so they don't have to work.

It would cripple the retail and bar industry

Yeah I saw that in UCD a few back. It's good to see the Student Union actually doing something that is related to students, matters and will probably do some good. It gave me a bit more faith in student politics.
