I know Donnacadh O Laoire, SF from Cork. Although we do not agree on politics, he is a damn nice guy and I wish him the best in June.

Once adams gives up the leadership and new faces start to emerge from the south i can see sinn fein starting to move away from their circa 7% mark in the southern elections.

    although the question is when.
The leinster house team following the next genreal election will be a very young vibrant and intelligent team that will change peoples opinion of Sinn Féin, this will only increase their popularity. The likes of Pearse Doherty, padraig maclochlainn, mary lou, Killian Forde, Joanne Spain, Toireasa ferris, Matt Carthy, Tomás Sharkey, and possible even the likes of Jonathan O'Brien and David Cullinane.

Do you need an irish name to get into sinn fein these days?
at least two of the three are fluent gaeilgeoirí so it's hardly a surprise that they would spell their names in Irish. In fact surely it should be a source of pride to use your irish name?

Barry Ward is running with Marie Barker in Blackrock. It looks like he will take a seat there, it's just a question of whether it's the third or the fourth.

can we get the list of the youngest so? I'm 21 on may 24th.

Adam will be at most 20 by the time of the election.

Peadar de Bluit's birthday is in May, so he will be 21 I just don't know the exact date.

    What about Donnacadh?

The same blueshirts that have been a matter of history for 70odd years?
