    Personally, I would be reluctant to vote for any candidate under 30.

    another one under 25 is the People Before Profit candidate in Rathmines

    why?

    I don't want important decisions made on my behalf by young people of very limited life experience.

    i agree younger people can be power hungry most r only running to make a name for next time except a few neil richmond and Pa o,Dris come to mind. I think its unfair to say that young people having very little life experience is a reason not to vote for them. In fact fresh open minds is what we need now we saw where those with life experience as u call it got us. the younger cand will also be more in tune with what is happening in the real world.

    fair enough - i would rather important decisions arn't made on my behalf by tired, out of touch and uncreative older people

    Responding to a borderline ageist statement with a blatantly ageist statement is maybe not the best thing you could have said.

    I personally think the voting age should be lowered to 16 or 17, but there should also be respect for older people in our country.

    i did mean older people who are those things not that all older people are

    One needs very little experience to be on the council. So I say, younger the better. Fill the councils with lots of lovely young girls. As long as they reach the legal requirements of 18.
