you seem to have high regard for Pa O'Driscoll, you counted him twice!

I guess part of the reason there are so many "young" Fine Gaeler's running is the example of Leo Varadkar and Lucinda Creighton. They both followed the YFG, to Council to Dail route and they are now the two youngest TDs in the Dáil.

So are any of the young candidate particularly exciting (and why)? I'm not just referring to the YFGers.

What about for Euro's. Eoin Dubsky ran as an independent last time as did Seanan O'Coistin. I don't expect any of the main parties will be putting up young candidates, though there might be some young alternates from the main parties and some young independent euro candidates...

Ah he's a good lad, i could pretend the reason I counted him twice was because he is running for both town and county council, but really I forgot I had included him.

I know one of the FGers running in Dublin is claiming to be the youngest ever candidate to run for election in Dublin www.noelrock.ie
Sinn Fein 26 counties Euro candidates are young. Mary Lou (despite being set to be elected Vice President next week) is young (39) and will be a candidate in Dublin. Padraig MacLochlainn in North West is just 35, while Sinn Féin's Toireasa Ferris (28) is a candidate for South. While Kathleen Funchion is 24 and Tomas Sharkey is 33--Sinn Féin's two contenders for East.

In the six counties EURO there is a young green-see link beliow. I think he is under 30.

I know Neale Richmond has been nominated to the MEP "B" List for Fine Gael in Dublin although what place he will be given on it is down to HQ

Also by the looks of it he is the most popular, well on facebook anyway with 300+ supporters/group members

    Neale Richmond

Elsewhere in Dublin South FG - Dylan Shatter is seeking a nomination at a Selection Convention tonight whilst John Kennedy is hoping to run in the Stillorgan Ward

Will there be anything special for the young candidates as this weekend's YFG Conference? Won't make it myself but would there be anything popping up on the news like?
