    Ogra Shinn Fein thrown out of TCD

    The TCD branch of osf has been thrown off campus after the chairperson Ms Grace Vaughey sent an email urging members of OSF TCD to send an email to a Magaret Thatcher fan site to insult Mrs Thatchers Dead husband Dennis and sign off with the chilling statement "we'll get the bitch yet". A OSF TCD Member complained to college authorities resulting in the eviction from their society room, loss of their grant and a total ban on OSF activities in TCD until at least after xmas. Ms Vaughey also recived a 75 euro fine from the junior dean according to reports in today's Trinity news.

    Just to be pedantic, the Sinn Féin society in Trinity is/was not "the TCD branch of OSF". It's a student society linked to Sinn Féin, and its membership must be open to all registered students and staff, regardless of age.

    Isn't 'today's Trinity News' the source? They aren't online anymore I think so you'll have to swing by College for more.

    It's a sad day when even OSF have informers. The member could have handled things within the party rather than going to the college authorities.

    I think the term 'whistleblower' would be more apt. Or are they termed informers when squealing ion the republican community and whistleblowers when performing a public service ?
