    UCD FF AGM 2008

    I had thought this would have been posted up earlier.

    After the hustings on Wednesday, 23rd April the following people had declared they're intentions to run:

    Chair: Conor King
    Vice-Chair: David Dixon, Danielle Pender
    Secretary: Aisling Conlon
    Vice-Secretary: Patrick Conway
    Treasurers 1 & 2: Lisa Henry, Gemma Macahill, Conor Kinsella
    Membership & Campaigns: Ciaran Murphy
    PRO & Policy Development: Joanna Farrell
    Special Events: Emer Fleming
    Communications: James Delahunt
    CDC Rep 1: Frank McBride
    CDC Rep 2:


    On the 24th April the following committee was elected:

    Chair: Conor King

    Treasurer 2: Conor Kinsella
    Membership & Campaigns: Cathal Doyle
    PRO & Policy Development: Joanna Farrell
    Special Events: Emer Fleming
    Communications: James Delahunt
    CDC Rep 1: Brian Doyle
    CDC Rep 2: Danielle Pender

    So there it is: the antics of the KBC AGM!

    How dull things get....
    No MEP changing the standing orders, no people suffering from a fit after the first vote was tied (with both sides claiming his vote), no purges, no double votes, dodgy expenses report etc. (not that these things ever happened).
    We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don't know we don't know.

    Actually I think there were some problems with voting rights and who had the right to contest but I dont know the specifics...

    Have to say as an outsider the hustings look very different to the elections!! Shame...

    Not many people I know on it but the ones I do know arent great workers.

    But sure i'm they'll all work together!!

    Congrats to Johanna Farrell and Aisling Conlon. Two great party people and great Meath West girls..One happends to be my cousin..ill let you figure out who!

    Nope but from all reports there are ructions there too!! Any ideas why the lists vary for the KBC??
