UCC branch of Young Fine Gael to make Margaret Thatcher honorary life member?

"During Private Member's Time we will debate the legacy of Margaret Thatcher and whether to make her an Honorary Life Member of the branch. We will also vote on the motions put forward by the policy committee for conference along with voting on which candidates to nominate for the YFG Conference. We will end the meeting with our annual Oscar's Social.!
    Drinks after as per usual!

Hope to see everyone Wednesday for what will most definitely be an interesting discussion!

I've added a question mark to your thread title, given it's a motion.

I cannot make the pun work but am reminded of wilde's joke about foxhunting being the unspeakable in pursuit of the uneatable.

Never listen when they tell you that Man and the animals have a common interest, that the prosperity of the one is the prosperity of the others. It is all lies.

This is the same Republican Party wing of Fine Gael (in the US politics sense of the word) that gave us Gay Mitchell as a presidential candidate.
