    Hundreds attend FF youth conference

Hundreds attend FF youth conference - The Irish Times - Mon, Nov 07, 2011

They haven't gone away, you know. I think Seán Gallagher's performance spooked S.F. because it shows F.F. are alive and well. I know Gallagher benefitted from the F.G. vote in some instances i.e. the border region (an anti-S.F. vote), but even in Dublin his vote was more or less on a par with S.F., even where they hold seats. S.F. should have ran Caoimhín Ó Caoláin, he would have performed better (maybe 17-19%: what S.F. seem to be polling in recent polls). F.F. are still there with thousands of members. I not rule out a comeback. If they do well in the local elections in a few years (2014?), they might recover somewhat next time around...

Even Susan Boyle could attract a crowd.

Unlike other political parties, FF is an intrinsic part of the DNA make up of its members.

It would be interesting to see if the 'FF yute' (Sean Gallagher was once its leader!!) disavow the behaviour of their elders.

When you have a country populated by moronic people who only care about themselves, then the political party that only cares about it's members and rich mates will always be alive and well.
