Hmmm, yes indeed, can't beat the armed approach to sorting out political opponents.

As for respect for the young...

Not if we change the system of voting. Michael McDowell has even proposed disqualifying members of Seanad Éireann from candidacy or election to Dáil Éireann at the general election following their membership of Seanad Éireann. This is just one example of election reforms.

One BAD example of electoral reform. I thought Mad Mickey was supposed to be an expert on the Constitution?

And I speak as one in favour of Seanad reform rather than populist Abolishment.

Indeed, I wouldn't agree with it myself but what I am trying to demonstrate is there there are more options available to the government than just abolition.

What has their waists got to do with it?
"Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.

I've got a serious question. It's not trolling and it's not an attempt to belittle anyone.

What I want to know, is why a young person, of a generation that has been raped and tortured for the debts of the buddies of Fianna Fail, goes and joins the party, much less stays on board after all that's happened.

That's all I want to know. Why do people side with the party that killed Ireland?
