    Young Fine Gael Conference Video

I've been doing a trawl of YouTube for some content for a project I'm working on for Politics.ie at present, and I've come across this.....

    <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/EsgX6b1DkdQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/EsgX6b1DkdQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

A video from the Young Fine Gael conference last week.

Just when you thought YFG could not get any more pathetic, they come out with ************************e like this. What a crowd of cheer leaders, don't they know there is more to politics than masturbating over Enda Kenny? The scary thing is they probably believe all the crap they come out with. It was funny hearing them play money money money, considering they are a cult of little rich kids themselves!

Coming from you Barry, the words pot, kettle and black come to mind.

As for swinging doors shinners comment, I couldn't possibly say as I am not a shinner.

Did you leave.? I always thought you were a member of Sinn Fein.
Was it over the policing issue in the north? I recall reading that a number of Ogra Sinn Fein from Cork spoke out against the support for the PSNI.

Is that a handheld version of the clip or the original? It is quite shakey at the start and there is a nearly 30 sec lead in which is much too long, and roc made the point previously about using more video rather than static photos. OK so I used just photos here on you pay taxes so we don't have to but I did add original audio mind! I would suggest someone edit the original and post just the introduction of the young candidates, and perhaps get some audio of them saying their name or even enough time for a one liner on a issue to be raised.
Dan Sullivan. I was back but we still couldn't all have a vote.

I never get tired of this old clanger!

Why not wheel out all your old doozies DOD ? Its Saturday morning after all!

    - YFGers are all children of big farmers and East-Asian tea planters
    - YFGers are all ultra-fascist neo-cons
    - YFGers are all part of the Catholic right
    - YFG is part of a massive conspiracy to create a European Federalist Superstate

I'm sure you've had a few more over the years. Maybe you could complete the list?!

I am no longer a member of SF. I left after the special Ard-Fheis, but not specifically over policing. It is for this reason that you will not see me posting too much on SF related threads from now on, out of respect for those here still in the party. However, I just wanted to point out that I no longer fit under the 'shinner' category. That speaker was not me, it was a senior party member. I chose not to speak, as I had already made up my mind about leaving and so spent the day drinking cups of tea and b1tching.

Anyway, I posted on this thread to give out about YFG not SF! :P

I was referring to Gerry Adams cameo in the short clip.
The Shinners must have snaked him in there when nobody was looking.
    OR
Was it a subliminal message of some type?
