    The Easter Rising in Wexford

Article here about the Easter Rising in Wexford in 1916.

Enniscorthy was taken over for a week by the Irish Volunteers but some rival nationalists in the National volunteers mobilised in support of the British Army to oppose them. Fortunately the surrender order came from Dublin before they could come to blows.

Some rising---Some of them lived on the "glory" for a long time afterwards--they were mostly members of Fianna Fail and most of the FF ones got IRA medals and pensions for their actions.I knew some of them.

Aha, That right? like James Stephens and pushing out the Wandesfords, and holding out in the hills forever:;nothing wrong with Kilkenny, bar drummed, and even he could be redeemed with extreme violence or even gentle persuasion. Damn the bad word I will hear about Kilkenny, What's that you say there Raymond? You were a Kilkenny man? and Donal with the lovely book in Irish you wrote about viciousness in foreign you loved Kilkenny too?

He did, they did, I do. We will have no offence to Klkenny.
