must admit - despite Matthews going hardball on him, the guy is impressive and very very calm under the onslaught. Mr Gun Owner knows his (American) history.

    Youngdan,

Yes. Palin, beck, Limbaugh, Coulter etc. are the puppet masters. Alot sheep actually believe that Obama was born in kenya even though he has releashed his birth certificate proving that he was born in America. Only a puppet could be that stupid. Their idiocy over the healthcare issue, 'death panels' and so on, could not be believed by an informed, free citizenry.

    Well observed Earlybird.
He makes a good job of waving his placard around too.

Provocateurs about? It wouldn't be the first time.

No, this is fascism. There is a growing movement within American Conservatism, fired up with racism, fear and ignorance, that cares nothing for democracy. They have already killed and will certainly kill again.

Obama is simply trying to bring the United States up to First World standards when it comes to health-care, but the fascist tendency of the Conservative movement will not accept a black man as President. What a sad, pathetic excuse for humanity the Conservative movement and their shills the Republican party has become.

Phoenix police said the gun-toters at Monday's event, including the man carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle slung over his shoulder, didn't need permits. No crimes were committed, and no one was arrested.

The man with the rifle declined to be identified but told The Arizona Republic that he was carrying the assault weapon because he could. "In Arizona, I still have some freedoms," he said.
This is why I love America.
