You should have been listening to the MSNBC coverage of the inauguration! Except for the talented Rachel Maddow the rest of those guys were engaged in one massive circle jerk. The endless pablum is nauseating alright.Originally Posted by Wigmore

"...and I will be making no decisions tonight", Hillary said as the crowd roared.
Both the crowd and the media thought she meant decisions about withdrawing from the race. Did they think she was nuts? She could do the math as well as anyone, she knew the game was up.
No, the decision she had to make was weither or not to launch a coup when Obama became President, and he would. A feces throwing chimp could beat a republican in this climate.
The reason she had to decide now was because if she decided not to launch the coup she could give Obama luke warm support on the trail and let that be it. If she decided to go for it, she'd have to put her full weight behind him, to throw off any suspicion.
She decided to go for it, she'd take that cocky b****** down no matter what it took.
So soon after she conceded, she worked as hard as she could for Obama., though she did occasionally catch herself giving him the evil eye.
Tuesday, Janurary 20th, 2009....AD
Hillary flipped open her cell phone as she walked towards her layer, two of her goons in tow.
She dialed the number of Robert Byrd, third in line to the presidency. As he was saying hello she interuppted him "Hi Robert, Hillary here, I heard the breaks on your car failed on the way to the ceremony this morning (she had made sure they did), I'm so glad your ok". He got as far as "thank-" before she talked over him "because a man your age is quite fragile you see, all sorts of unfortunate accidents could suddely befall you, espechally if you don't sign the document some of my people will be bringing to you in a few minutes, I suggest you cooperate....before there is another accident", she snapped the cell phone closed before he got a chance to reply.
Next she had to deal with Pelosi, she had considerd calling her too but she wasn't sure Pelosi would respond to threats, so her goons were instructed to just bundle her into an unmarked van and take her to be held at the Washington Mayfair Hotel, Byrd was a determined old man, he would probably refuse to sign, in which case her goons had been instructed to simply bundle him into the same van and take him to the Hotel for holding as well.
She chuckled as she thought of Roberts rearranging of the oath a few hours back. Roberts had been in on the plan from the start, he had jumped at the chance Hillary had offered him to take Obama down as revenge for Obama voting against his confirmation.
Biden was also in on it from the start. Hillary had made it clear privatly she didn't want to be VP, and did her best to sabotage the chances of the other candidates while arranging things in Bidens favor.
She grinned proudly as she entered her layer, where, around a large confrance table, the former Clinton members of the Obama cabinet were waiting for her.
They stood as she entered. This was too easy.

President Obama arrived for his first day of work, "theres so much to do", he thought to himself, "but this is really cool, I'm gonna take a few minutes to enjoy it". "Guys go outside for 5 minutes I wanna just sit behind the resoloute desk for a while and savor this".
He threw off his suit jacket, kicked back and looked around, savoring the moment. He was bored within seconds, "really need to get that laptop" he muttered to himself.
His phone beeped, he pressed the speaker button, it was Laura, his executive secretary, she had worked for Hillary during the campaign but was very good at her job. "Sir I have President Clinton on the phone", Obama thought Bill was calling to give him some advice, "ok go ahead", "putting her through now". 'Her'? Obama thought, he'd have to speak to Laura later, mocking a former president was not appropriate for someone in her job.
He picked up the receiver.
"Hello Barack" came the voice on the other end, it was Hillarys voice in a tone that made her sound like a cartoon villan, she wasn't president, was Laura stoned? and why was she calling him by his first name?! "erm, hello madam secretary", he said trying to remind her they were meant to be using official titles now. Hillarys light, derisory tone suddenly turned serious, "Thats madam President Barack, you'll find out why in a few minutes, in the mean time I suggest you get the hell out of my office, I'll be over in an hour".
"Excuse me????" Obama stood, incredulous, "who do you think your talking to?". In a mocking tone, Hillary responded "Barack, don't make this harder than it needs to be, I'm going to check with my staff, if your not out of my office in 20 minutes I'm going to send some agents over to remove you".
Before he could respond she hung up. Obama, usually so cool he didn't sweat, totally lost it. Forgetting he could summon him with a button on his phone, he screamed for his chief of staff next door "RAHM!!!! GET YOUR JEWISH ASS IN HERE".
Emmanuel came in the door briskly "Mr President relax", Rahm was usually the one to loose his temper not Obama, so the president sat back down thinking for a second there was some logical explanation for all this:
"what the hell is going on", he asked. Emmanuel sighed heavily and began "Hillary Clinton held a cabinet meeting during the inaugural lunch yesterday", Obamas eyes widened and his jaw dropped, he'd been wondering why she wasn't there. "..she convinced them to invoke the 25th amendment and make Joe Biden acting president because of the uncertainty over your taking of the oath, she convinced the cabinet that while you were automatically president at 12 o clock, you immediately violated the constitution by not taking the oath properly and thus could not begin executing the powers of your office. She convinced them someone needed to take the reigns until the situation could be sorted out, then the VP resigned right after the vote, apparently he was in on this plan all along, then Pelosi and Byrd recused themselves from the line of succession, we think she threatened them, in any case, this made her President".
Obama stood up again, "first of all so few have been confirmed yet you could hardly fit my cabinet in a phone box right now, and she hasn't been confirmed!" "she held a closed session of the senate to confirm her just before the lunch, there was barely a quorum there but they were all her fans and they confirmed her"
Obama was speechless for a second "...never mind, I was a law professor I know what to do, we just need to send a letter to the speaker and senate pro temp overriding the cabinet decision".
Emmanual looked at the floor as Obama talked, he'd already fired that point at Mark Penn when he called to tell him what was going on, "yeh... I told them that and they said they'd just hold the vote again, and said we woudln't be able to appeal to congress because she had used Bush-era war powers laws to dissolve it".
Obama gave him a skeptical look "they're not just gonna do what she says, when they hear what shes done they'll just hold a vote and impeach her!". Emmanual, looking defeated responded "they can't hold any votes, troops loyal to her are holding the congress at The Greenbrier, she's thought of everything sir, she's apparently been planning this since last summer, even the cheif justice is in on it, payback for you voting against his confirmation, I warned you not to put so many Clinton era people in your cabinet".
Obama rolled his eyes "woulda shoulda coulda is not gonna help us here Rahm, so what do I do now?. "some secret service SUVs are waiting outside, the agents, all of them, are loyal to her, they're going to take you to the Wasington Mayfair Hotel, Michelle and the kids were already taken there by their detail half an hour ago, get into the SUV and I'll follow you over there soon and we'll figure out how to take her down, we won't let her away with this, and the people won't stand for it either once it comes out"
"Where is Hillary now?" Obama asked. "She took air force one to New York right after the cabinet vote shes er..gone to collect her things to move in" Emmanual said as he put his arm on the Presidents shoulder "go now, I'll get our people together, find out whos loyal to us and we'll meet you at the hotel to plan a comeback"
Obama left the White House, feeling naked without his secret service detail, wondering if this cabinet of rivals thing was such a good idea after all.
