But Bush Inc. was a disaster.

Now, I'm sceptical about Obama when I should probably be positive. Maybe if you expect less you'll be happier at the outcome.
In 2000 I was young but knew the election had been stolen, but I thought to myself "It might be interesting to see a republican president for a change"
I learned later "may you live in interesting times" is actually a curse.

He was the worst president in US history and a war criminal, but when those marines saluted him for the last time I felt genuine pity for him and I can't explain why.

As for being sceptial of Obama, it's very important that we are, his feet needs to be held to the fire, the last President was surrounded by yes men and a passive press corps for the first 6 years, that can't be allowed to happen again.

Obamas been president an hour now and I'm already dissapointed: Ryan Phillpe has not appeared and offerd to have sex with me, free ice cream and puppies are not falling from the sky and I can't seem to find that suitcase of €500 bills I was expecting to appear as if from nowhere.
It's Roberts fault of ballsing up the oath! Now the good stuff won't come!!
    maybe after the parade....

I'm so happy for black kids all across America, they can look at their latino, gay and female classmates and say "I can be president one day and you can't yet! ne ne ne ne ne ne"

He's signing his first documents now, including continuity of government orders ...thats a bit morbid....has to be done I suppose..

Yep, the neocons got to him after 911.

In the 2000 presidential debates he said the US should never get involved in nation building and "if were an arrogant nation the world will hate us"

If I just gained the power to launch a nuclear war I'd be swaggering too.
In fact I'd probably be so drunk on my own power Biden would already have to take over....

Bush just landed at Andrews he's going into a hanger to talk to some people before getting on the plane

Same old spoof and political demagoguery
A champion of the people emerges with the age-old and appealing promise of "something for nothing" - to be financed through every-increasing taxes. Supply and demand are thrown out of gear - the overhead goes up; the effective use of human energy goes down; the standard of living is lowered because money cannot buy wealth that is not produced.

Well thought-out analysis is exactly what P.ie is all about.
A P.ie moderator stated this on June 25th 2010: P.ie tolerates very broad free speech, and thus allows sectarian bigotry etc
