President Barack Obama 44th President of the US.

Barack Obama today became the 44th President of the US.

Having won Pennsylvania, Obama sailed home.

A great day for the US and a great day for the World. A brutal and deserved beating delivered to Right Wing politics and hopefully the promised beginning of "wealth redistribution"

God Bless America. God Bless Obama, 40 years after the death of Martin Luther King, American blacks have been delivered to the Promised Land.

Almost certainly he will be the President Elect after tonight.

He is NOT the President of the USA until he is sworn in next January.

I think it will take a while for the momentous nature of this stunning win to sink in.

    Phew.

Lets remember whats promised and the actuality after election are not usually the same.
Remember how Clinton u-turned on a lot of his economic policies weeks after being elected.
Good luck to Obama and God Speed as He has a huge job in front of him..
but lets not think we have all reached the promised land just yet

Yes it is. McCain is not on target to win the extra states he needs. He is not going to get to 270, or near it. Obama cannot not get to it now.

    Just projected Obama wins Ohio.

Martin Luther King's dream appears to be coming true.

    Thank God.
