thing about obama is he mixed race and also he's not the 'african -america' as the term is meant, he only first generation, he's not the descendent of slaves. when people question whether he's back enough he's probably blacker(more african) then most of the black people in america.

He is african american in the sense that he was born in america of a black parent and lived in africa, he knows a damn site more about being african than Jesse Jackson, who hy[pocritically cried as soon as obama won havuing slated him before then
Of course he's African-American. His father was a black African and his mother a white American.
It's true that he doesn't have slaves in his ancestral background like most African-Americans but I doubt that would have made a huge difference to any racially charged encounters he's had down the years: it's not as if a racist would know this or care much about it.
Not anytime soon. Some here think George Lee is going to solve the crisis by setting up a body to figure out why Ireland is uncompetive and that if FG were in things would be rosy. They wil believe anything.
