I think Obama did well on the Ayers/ACORN issues. Now McCain's going to be on the back foot trying to justify his selection of Palin.

    McCain says Palin :

    Role model to women
    Anti corruption campaigner
    Faced down the oil companies
Chopped the legs of her ex-nanny
    Understands reform
    Understands autism
    Abuses her power
    Has a tough husband

How McCain can force this bilge about Palin out of his mouth is incredible. He must be squirming inside.

I love how Obama thinks Biden is so great even though Biden was calling for an invasion of Iraq years before it happened and voted for the invasion of Iraq and yet one of the key planks of his campaign is that McCain showed he doesn't have the judgement to be President because he supported Iraq.

McCain's going to put Sarah Palin in charge of children with special needs: not exactly a ringing endorsement of his VP choice.

Obama points out that McCain's spending freeze will hurt programmes for these children.

CNN analysts are being more favourable to McCain this week. 3 going for Obama, 3 for McCain.

Of course McCain has little faith in Palin. As long as McCain doesn't die, which is unlikely, she will have no real power.

The CNN instaudience response lines are "undecided voters in Ohio"

McCain is tanking, never carries the women.

Jesus, McCain is just negative, negative, negative. I think this is going to start sounding sour as time goes on - still half an hour to go.
