"Pro-abortion" says McCain. What a disgusting, dishonest, repulsive phrase. Shame on this goddam gimp.

Ok, so we disagree on the benefits of Free Trade. That is a massive issue and one that shouldn't be argued on a thread like this.

FFS, if you have never heard a pro-life person use that term, then you live a sheltered life.

Oh for crying out loud, of course I have, but I haven't heard it in a long time and I have never heard it being used by someone this high-profile.

McCain is cleaning up here. A very impressive performance, and not letting himself be walked all over for once. And the point on the plumber getting higher taxes and questions about whether Obama's health insurance plan would force people to pay fines, have thrust Obama back onto the defensive for the first time since the Palin VP pick. Am now certain it will be McCain sworn in on Pennsylvania Avenue next year.

Fair enough, at least he didn't use the term pro-death. If it was debated in Ireland, I have no doubt you would hear the term Pro-abortion all the time.

No real knockout punches. It was almost like watching Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

By a million miles the best debate format and by a zillion miles the best moderator. CBS should have given Schieffer not Rather the big gig 30 years ago.
