Oh yeah, ABC is the class act in the Network field no doubt about it.

Stephanopolous I don't rate at all though, and I wish they had someone less tainted by past party allegiance in his role (Chief Washington Correspondent).

Ed: By way of example, the garbled opening line of his piece linked to above: "This was a very highly produced, technically incredibly competent half hour of television that was worth every penny." Dreadful.

CNN: Obama ad a ratings success

    • about 30 million people in all saw the long-form campaign ad.
    • That's 3 million more than usually watch those networks at that hour
    • meaning 22 percent of all households watching television at that hour tuned into the spot. That compares to the 38.3 household rating the last presidential debate scored.
    • But even if viewers didn't catch the spot when it first aired, clips of the program have repeatedly been broadcast across the cable news channels Thursday, maximizing the Illinois senator's exposure in the crucial remaining days before Election Day.

Well timed also as race seemed to be tightening ... also I wonder... will this make voters stay at home ?

I'm thinking any GOP moderates & GOP leaning independents who watched it , when they see Obama, looking all presidential in the faux Oval Office - maybe they think "well I could live with that and I'm not going to stand in the way of history" ... ?

Obama is in Iowa tomorrow, why? The only thing I can think which makes any sense is that his internal polls are a hell of lot different than the public polls we see.

I think it's more to round things out. Iowa is where he got his start--it was his first win, and an unexpected one.

Just watched the ad - pretty impressive. If Obama doesn't win, I'll eat my hat. Maybe I can get Celtic Bookmakers to put odds on it...

Maybe he's ********************ing with McCains head? letting him think he still has a chance?

Cheney went to Hawaii in 2004 and it confused the heck out of everyone, made them think he knew something they didn't about the polls there.

There isn't even a competitive senate race in Iowa, Minnesota would have made more sense, anyway ours is not to reason why..
